This is a very powerful channel strip. I ended up using it much more than my other industry standard channel strips due to its simplicity.
The saturation and transient features is a great option also.
And for the price is maybe the best channel strips out there.
Love this one. The ability to instantly switch between A, N, S, and see the colour change and whats happening, is hugely valuable to me. There's no other way to do this without using multiple plugins. It's both informative, and also breaks you out of your tunnel vision. Already in a few days, there has been a few "aha" moments, where a quick switch from one module to another gave an instantly better / more musical and unexpected result. Loving it.
Not the best looking UI but the sound quality is on point! After all isn’t that what really matters!? 5 stars it does that distressor thang!
This channel strip is killer. Only thing I missed was a key input to trigger the gate and Eddie said he's adding that so it gets 5 stars from me. the gate is just what I was looking for. Quick without chopping off any sound. All components seem to work like the traditional hardware. Nice job Kiive!
i've grown to love working with channel strips thanks to their simplicity - this one is even better, because I have 3 different ones, so I don't have to switch plugins. and there's more - transient shaper is very nice and not usually available inside channel strips, there's width control with sidechain and gate is super simple to use, thanks to great display
Enough switch-ability for experienced users and a great choice for a first plugin if you are starting up with channel strips or to maximize your choices while downsizing your plugin list. Currently enjoying the smoothness of the N options.
